Socialisation is essential for living a happy and healthy life. People with disabilities rarely have the opportunity to interact with others. The Advanced Care team can resolve this issue using group and centre activities. Moreover, this issue falls under the NDIS program.

Group/Centre Activities, NDIS Australia  

Advanced Care’s options are several group programs targeting various interests, regularly adding new activities. Our programs are conducted in a one-to-three ratio, with options for both centre-based and community-based activities.

OUR GROUP ACTIVITIES COULD REACH THE FOLLOWING OUTCOMES:

  • A network of friends and peers is formed naturally 
  • By becoming familiar with your community and its opportunities 
  • By exploring new interests and learning new skills

As a result, we are united by the mission of the National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS), which is to improve the lives of every Australian suffering from significant and permanent disabilities and their carers, family members, and friends.

Having registered with the NDIS, we’re proud to be Nationally Recognized as an NDIS Provider. Join us by showing your support!

By helping participants identify and fund group or centre-based activities connecting them to their community, we can give them more control over their plan. NDIS participants and their caregivers are related to the community resources that will benefit them the most, and we help them understand everything in their NDIS plans.

FAQ for the Group Activities

An individual can receive support to engage in community, social, or recreational activities. These activities get carried out in a centre or the community.
MDS provides non-facility support in addition to direct support provided to participants. In addition to writing communication books, developing and monitoring care plans, collecting data to review and report participants’ goals, and researching and planning directly related to the needs of the participants, these tasks are conducted regularly.

NDIS participants may receive funding for daily activities as part of their support plans. Participants may participate in community, social, economic, and everyday life activities. 

 Occupational assistance assists participants in finding or keeping jobs in the open or supported job market.

Providers are not funded for Support Coordination. Agency, Plan or Self-Managed Support Coordination are all options.
