If you are an NDIS participant and have been approved for the support category ‘increased social & community participation’ in your NDIS plan, we can access the supports. Workplace assistance enables a participant to successfully obtain and/or retain employment in the open or supported labour market.
Assistance with life stages and transition, including Support Coordination. This includes strengthening a client’s abilities to coordinate their support and participate in the community.
Development of daily living and life skills focuses on training and development activities undertaken by the participant or their carer to increase their ability to live as autonomously as possible, including supports that will enhance the ability of the participant to travel and use public transport independently.
This registration group incorporates assistance with and/or supervising tasks of daily life in a shared living environment, which is either temporary or ongoing, with a focus on developing the skills of each individual to live as autonomously as possible. This registration group includes short-term accommodation and assistance.
This support category involves supports participation in skills-based learning to develop independence in accessing the community. Skills Development and Training, and Innovative Community Participation are the two components that make up Increased Social and Community Participation under Capacity Building Support.
